It occurred to us last year that our kids are rapidly becoming better travelled than we are. Seeing the Northern Lights has always been on that ‘To Do’ list we all have so having been spurred on by the cheques we were writing for Amy to visit Iceland on a geography field trip with the school, knowing Owen wanted to ski in the February half term and thinking Amy would also be away (Geography again) we promised each other we’d go for it.
Turns out Amy’s trip wasn’t in half-term but by then the flights were booked & the boots & hats bought so she’s off to Nanny.
