All good trips must come to an end so it was Lilongwe to Addis Ababa via Blantyre & then onto Heathrow. The Ethiopean Soup at Addis that had been recommended by everyone lived up to the hype & Ethiopean Airways (I still  think they should consider EthiopeAir) were great.

 Last night in Malawi was spent in Lilongwe where Amy to us to an amazing Indian restaurant.

A visit to the local orphanage armed with Kamba (corn snacks) & bubbles caused chaos.

Driven back up to KA via a Supermarket shop in Lilongwe.
Now relaxing at the staff club chugging ‘Green’.

Now who could really say they wouldn’t love it here.

Now sitting in the lovely terrace restaurant. We are wearing hoodies and jumpers! That I did not expect.

Now started back north and are staying at the sister lodge to the one in Nkhotakota.

Conference to discuss how we’ve ended up with a meeting room attached to our room in Zomba.
Been doing mad off road driving up on the plateau.

So, we are ‘off grid’. No electricity beyond some solar powered lights to cook by. No light pollution whatsoever but no moon or stars yet either. Black, black, black. But the ‘bar’ has candles.
